Reading comperhension

In room six we were given a website to do reading comprehension on a site called read works. Our teacher has set quite a few tasks for us to complete, the first task I chose to complete was a story about Montreal and New York bagels. Here's my score as you can see I got five out of seven, but it actually says ten that's because I had to write some of them. This was easy because the answers were inn the passages in the story.

This morning in room six we had to do collaborative problem solving.
In this DLO (Digital Learning Object) I chose to do the challenge and the super challenge, also I found this easy because I had already solved these problems with my group.

Simple and complex sentences

This week in room six we were learning about simple and complex sentences. We also learned that a simple sentence has one idea and a complex has one or more ideas. I just finished two quizzes about simple and complex sentences here they are.

I found this easy because I already knew about this because I had already worked out some of these questions with a little group

WALT: Solve word problems using the best strategy we know.
This morning in room six we did collaborative problem solving, and had to solve three questions. But in this DLO (Digital Learning Object) you can see that I used multiple strategies to figure out these questions. Also I found pretty easy to do because I had already figured out these questions with a group.

Math's DLO 12.02.17

WALT: Solve word problems using the best strategy we know.

Today I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) using the best strategy I knew witch in this case it was multiplying with algorithm. With this problem I had o aline the two numbers like this. First I timesed the six and the six ad got 36, so I put down the six and carried the three. After that I timesed the eight and six and I got 48. Lastly I had to add the three to 48 and got 51. Now you get your final total of 516. I found this easy because I had already used this strategy.

Today I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) with Malae on how to solve these problems using the best strategy I knew. Also I found this challenging because the question was like algebra, because we had to figure out the numbers ourselves.

Prototec Basic Facts

Today room 6 and I had to do a timed Prototec. I got 75 percent on stage 6 I found the pretty hard because  I didn't know some of the questions. Also to improve I could try to stay focused and not take my time.

The Key Competencies in Room 6

WALT: Understand the Key Competencies
This week in room 6 we learnt about the Key Competencies TRUMP. TRUMP is actually an acronym and stands for Thinking, Relating to others, Using language symbols and texts and Participation and contribution. They are important because it can or might help you in the near future. Also using them in class will help boost your work and reports, because who doesn't want a good report? because I do.
