Today I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) using the best I know and the strategy I used was division in parts because it was easy and fast.

Today I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) and I found this pretty easy because I used a strategy called algorithm.

Fizzing and Foaming

WALT: determine whether a substance is an acidic, basic or neutral.

Today room 6 did a foaming and fizzing experiment. Our indicator was cabbage juice. Today we had 5 cups and 5 substances to try.  The substances we tried were bleach, washing powder, citric acid, vinegar and milk. What will happen when you put a substance in the indicator? Will it form or will it stay  in place or fizz? It might foam if you add acid and if it doesn't that means that it's a basic.  

The indicator changes colour depending on what substance you put in.
If a substance is acidic, it turns hot pink or red. If a substance is neutral, it stays purple. If a substance is basic, it turns blue, green or yellow. Citric acid was the most acidic substance. The most basic substance was bleach.

cybersafety on social media

WALT: explain how we can be safe on social media.

Today's task was about how to be cyber safe on social media.

social media can be fun but people can also take advantage on the things that you post so never post personal things that you regret doing.   

A persuasive conversation.

WALT: Use FORREST in a persuasive conversation.
What dose FORREST means? It means Facts,Opinion,Rhetorical question,Repetition,Emotive language,Statistics and Three (Groups of).
This was easy because I had two different buddies to work with. I also found it easy because I understood how and when to use "FORREST"

Today I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how to solve word problems using the best strategy we know. This question was easy because we solved this as a class. I found this easy because I have used this strategy before.

Today I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how to solve division problems.
I found this pretty easy but I know in the future I can do better.
